Nuggets Vs. Mavericks Final Score: Denver Blown Out Vs. Mavericks

The Denver Nuggets were never close during a 102-84 loss to the defending champion Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. The Mavericks led by 10 after the first quarter, broke it wide open in the third and never looked back. The loss drops Denver to 17-13 overall, while Dallas moves to 19-11 with the win.

Six Dallas scorers reached double-figures. Shawn Marion had 16 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists for the Mavericks in the win. Vince Carter added 14 points and six rebounds. Star forward Dirk Nowitzki had 12 points for Dallas.

Rudy Fernandez's 14 points led the five Denver scorers who reached double-figures tonight. Al Harrington had 13 points, while Kosta Koufos and Kenneth Faried each had 12 points. Faried and fellow rookie forward Jordan Hamilton (10 points) each played well late.
