Nuggets Vs. Suns Score Update: Denver Leads By Seven At Halftime

The Denver Nuggets are looking for consecutive victories to follow a five-game losing streak, and tonight at the Pepsi Center, George Karl's team is off to a good start. The Nuggets lead 58-51 against the Phoenix Suns at halftime. Nine Denver players scored in the first half.

Ty Lawson scored only two points in the second quarter, but has a team-leading 12 points heading into the third quarter. Rookie Kenneth Faried is making the most of his opportunity in the starting lineup, posting nine points. Guard Rudy Fernandez also scored nine points for Denver coming off the bench.

Playing without star point guard Steve Nash, Phoenix has been led by Michael Redd. Redd has 11 points and two rebounds on 4-of-8 shooting. Rookie Markieff Morris is also playing well off the bench. The Kansas product has 13 points and five rebounds at the half.
