Eric Gordon's Knee Injury Keeps Him Out Vs. Nuggets And Longer

While the Denver Nuggets won't decide until game time on whether Nene can play, they at least know that they won't face the New Orleans Hornets' Eric Gordon in the game. Gordon will be out for at least 2-3 weeks, reports Hornets radio voice Sean Kelley, to rest his bruised right knee.

Gordon has played in only two games this season. He appeared in the first game of the season and then sat out the next four games before returning on Wednesday. In those two games, Gordon averaged 21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

Marco Belinelli will slide into the starting shooting guard position while Gordon deals with his ailing right knee. The Hornets will also be without Trevor Ariza for the game.
