Nuggets Vs. Hornets Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Denver Nuggets will try to extended their current winning streak to four games Friday, as they travel to the New Orleans Hornets for a Western Conference contest at the New Orleans Arena. The Nuggets (5-2) are coming off three straight home victories, including a 110-83 beat down of the Sacramento Kings Wednesday, while the Hornets (2-4) have dropped four straight.

On Wednesday, five different players tallied double-digits for Denver, which was led by a career-best performance from forward Kosta Koufos, who tallied his first double-double (10 points and 11 rebounds). Koufos was filling in for injured forward Nene Hilario who has missed the last two games because of a bruised left heel. It is still uncertain if Nene will return tonight or Saturday against San Antonio.

Meanwhile, New Orleans has the conference's worst offense averaging just 87.2 points per game, which doesn't bode well against a solid Denver defense that is allowing a conference-low 86.3 ppg.

On Wednesday, the Hornets were was clipped by the Philadelphia 76ers, 101-93. Newly acquired guard Eric Gordan, who had missed four consecutive games a bruised knee, netted a team-best 22 points.
