VIDEO: Kenneth Faried Demonstrates Why He Is The 'Manimal'

Denver Nuggets rookie Kenneth Faried scored the first points of his career in an impressive play that involved Rudy Fernandez passing the ball blindly over his head to the rookie, who then slammed the ball for two points. But we've all been waiting for Faried to come up with some monster defensive play. We saw it on Wednesday night against the Sacramento Kings. He had four blocks in the game, including this big one. Video below.

Faried get s a great jump on Travis Outlaw and sends the ball to the ground in an "In your face" block. And then Faried keeps strong pressure on Outlaw after once the ball is picked up again. If Faried can have a few more games like this, he'll start to make George Karl think long and hard about providing more playing time.
