Ty Lawson Injury Update: Nuggets PG A Game-Time Decision On Tuesday Vs. Grizzlies

The Denver Nuggets didn't get starting point guard Ty Lawson back for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Maybe Lawson would have been enough to tip the game in favor of the Nuggets, but since he was out the Clippers wound up with the victory. Lawson was active for the game, though, and on Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies he will be a game-time decision, reports Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post.

Lawson has missed the last two games with an ankle injury and has only missed one game before the last two (a victory over the New Jersey Nets). Arron Afflalo and Rudy Fernandez, though, returned to the court on Sunday, and Fernandez came up with this sweet tip-in at the buzzer for the third quarter.

Lawson is averaging nearly 16 points per game to go with 6.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds. In his absence, Andre Miller has been starting in the back court.
