Jordan Hamilton will need to wait to make his NBA debut with the Denver Nuggets. He and fellow rookie Julyan Stone were optioned to the NBA Developmental League's Idaho Stampede, according to Scott Schroeder.
Julyan Stone and Jordan Hamilton were assigned from the Nuggets to the Stampede. Man, there are NBA assignments like crazy right now.

Neither rookie played in a any of the team's six regular season games, usually being inactive for the games.
Hamilton was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks and flipped to the Portland Trail Blazers for Rudy Fernandez and others before he and Andre Miller were sent to the Nuggets for Raymond Felton. Fernandez, incidentally, wound up with the Nuggets after a late December trade.
Stone signed as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP and was expected to be in the D-League at some point during the 2011-2012 season.
