Nuggets Vs. Clippers Preview: Denver Looks To Extend Win Streak To Seven

One thing about tonight's game between the Denver Nuggets (14-5) and Los Angeles Clippers (10-6) is for certain: it will be highly entertaining. Though the match up will be overshadowed nationally between the first meeting this season of the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat, it may be hard, from an entertainment standpoint, to beat the pairing of the "bombs away" Nuggets and the team affectionally known as Lob City.

On top of that, both teams come into the game playing well. The Clippers are 9-4 since the turn of the year, and the Nuggets are riding a six game winning streak that has seen them score over 100 points in all games but one. Though Los Angeles leads the NBA's Pacific Division, they've only been on the road five times this season (one of which was in their home arena vs. the Los Angeles Lakers), and have only won once, on opening night vs. the Golden State Warriors.

The Nuggets will be confident heading into the game, but if there's anything that might give them pause, it's that star point guard Ty Lawson is questionable for the game, which would leave Andre Miller, or perhaps Arron Afflalo, as the primary defender on superstar Chris Paul.
