2012 NBA MVP Power Rankings: Nary A Denver Nugget In Sight In SB Nation's Latest Set

The latest SB Nation NBA MVP Power Rankings by Tom Ziller are out and once again there are no Denver Nuggets on the watch list. The top three stayed the same again with LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant taking those spots, respectively. Chris Paul dropped all the way to No. 10 while LaMarcus Aldridge and Kyrie Irving went from unranked to Nos. 8 and 9, respectively.

If any Denver Nuggets player is to make a charge, it will be Danilo Gallinari. Gallinari averaged 17.4 points and 5.2 rebounds this season, which is well below the average of what the top 10 guys are putting up. Still, Gallo has been clutch for the Nuggets this season. He put in 37 points to lead the Nuggets to a double overtime victory over the Knicks.

Whether he enters the NBA MVP race, Gallo is certainly on pace to be the Nuggets' team MVP.
