Nuggets Vs. Kings: Denver Looks To Extend Road Winning Streak To 5 Games

The Denver Nuggets have been off since Saturday night when they defeated the New York Knicks in double overtime. That ran the team's road trip record to 4-0. Things pick up again on Wednesday night when they visit the Sacramento Kings for a fifth straight victory to close out the current road trip.

The Nuggets played just seven men on Saturday with Rudy Fernandez and Arron Afflalo out. They will be missing once again after being ruled out on Tuesday. But Danilo Gallinari has turned into a superman of late and most recently put 37 points on the board. He's averaging 17.4 points this season.

The Kings, meanwhile, haven't done much better since firing head coach Paul Westphal on Jan. 5. The Kings, who had lost one day earlier to the Nuggets, won the first game of the new era but have gone 3-7 since then. The Kings are currently on a two-game losing streak

Game time/date: 8:00 p.m. MT, Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012
