Nuggets Vs. Bucks Score Update: Milwaukee Leads By Six After One Quarter

The Denver Nuggets are looking for their second straight win after a quality home win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, but they trail the Milwaukee Bucks 30-24 after the first quarter at the Pepsi Center. While Denver's offense looked fluid in the first quarter, coach George Karl won't be happy with his team's defense.

Ty Lawson scored eight points on 3-of-4 shooting to lead the Nuggets. Recent pick-up Corey Brewer earned some rare playing time and glided in for an impressive one-handed dunk during a stint that saw him score five points (on 2-of-2 shooting) in under two minutes of play.

Veteran guard Stephen Jackson scored seven points on 3-of-6 shooting to lead the Bucks. Rookie big man Jon Leuer came off the bench to score six points on 3-of-3 shooting.
