The Denver Nuggets are holding onto a 78-72 lead against the Philadelphia 76ers after three quarters on Wednesday night. After trailing early, the Nuggets took a 51-45 lead into halftime, and a tight third period has the Nuggets holding onto that same six point lead as we enter the fourth.
It's generally been a very competitive game, as neither team has a major advantage in any facet of the game. The Nuggets are shooting 49 percent from the field compared to 43 percent for the 76ers, but the latter has done well to get additional chances through offensive rebounds and turnovers.
After a solid third quarter, Nene leads the Nuggets with 16 points and 8 rebounds. They've also gotten quality contributions from reserves, as Andre Miller has put up 14 points and nine assists while Al Harrington has 12 points and six rebounds of his own.
