Former Denver Nuggets great Alex English will reportedly join the Sacramento Kings coaching staff as an assistant. This comes a little more than a week after head coach Paul Westphal was fired.
In wake of Paul Westphal firing, source says Alex English will be added to the Kings coaching staff headed by Keith Smart.

English had spent 2004-2011 with the Toronto Raptors as an assistant coach and as director of player development before the team decided it wanted to go in a new direction this past summer.
English had his No. 2 retired by the team and is a Hall of Famer. His 25,613 points are good for 16th all-time in the NBA, scoring 21,645 points as a Nuggets player. That record is in no danger of being broken any time soon. Dan Issel is No. 2 with 16,589 while Carmelo Anthony left with 13,970. Nene's 6,585 currently places him at No. 10.
