Despite a lockout in place in the NBA, the league is putting a good face on things and announcing 2011 preseason schedules. The Denver Nuggets announced their 2011 preseason schedule on Thursday. Their seven-game schedule includes just two homes games at the Pepsi Center.
The home games come against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 16 and then on Oct. 23 against the Phoenix Suns. The preseason schedule starts on Oct. 10 with the first of back-to-back road games against the Houston Rockets. The Oct. 21 game with the Oklahoma City Thunder is the only single-game series during the preseason.
At this point during the NBA lockout, it is unlikely that any of these games will be played. Neither side is ready to negotiate faithfully.
