Kosta Koufos has been the forgotten player in the Carmelo Anthony trade, as he came to the Denver Nuggets by way of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He's even more forgotten now with the lockout in place. But never fear, we have a story about Koufos here.
↵Mark Titus, former Ohio State basketball player, has re-posted an essay supposedly written by Koufos, his teammate for one season. I say supposedly just to cover my bases, but I'll believe that Titus is posting a genuine piece of work Koufos produced for one of his classes.
↵The essay was a comparison of Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt" to Nine Inch Nails. Here's a small sample of what Koufos wrote:
↵↵↵After Listening to the song Hurt from both artists Johnny Cash, and the group Nine Inch Nails, it caught my attention in an awkward way. Both songs had the same lyrics, but sung in a different type of tone.
↵[...]
↵From listening to Johnny Cash’s version of Hurt I concluded that Nine Inch Nail’s [sic] version was much different.

Read the whole thing. It's not horrible, but it does need a bit of polish.
