NBA Draft Combine 2011 Begins Thursday In Chicago

While not quite the event that the NFL Draft Combine has turned into in recent years, the NBA Combine gets underway on Thursday in Chicago.

According to ESPN's Chad Ford, Colorado Buffaloes guard Alec Burks has decided to opt out of the predraft drills conducted during the event. However, a number of other top prospects are also not participating, including the top two projected picks in Duke's Kyrie Irving and Arizona's Derrick Williams. An up-to-the-minute updated list of who will be attending (though not necessarily taking part in any drills) can be found at Ridiculous Upside.

Players who have been projected to the Nuggets that will attend this event include Georgia's Trey Thompkins, Kansas'Josh Selby and Tennessee's Tobias Harris. But just as likely, the Nuggets future selection could be someone else, or it could be traded if Masai Ujiri finds the right deal.

Tune into ESPNU and ESPN3.com for live coverage of the Combine on Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. MT. The NBA Draft takes place on June 23.
