Jazz-Nuggets Halftime Score: Deron Williams Helps Jazz Lead, 50-47

The Denver Nuggets started the game off sluggishly, at one point shooting only 16.7 percent from the field. They, however, were able to stay in the game against the Utah Jazz by getting to the free throw line 13 times in the first quarter. However, they are losing at, 50-47, halftime.

Carmelo Anthony's shooting struggles continued, going 2-of-9 from the field, but 6-of-6 from the free throw line. He has 10 points. Chauncey Billups is also missing the hoop, making only one bucket in six attempts. He made four free throws. Nene leads the team 11 points, four rebounds and two blocks.

The Jazz have already felt the impact of Deron Williams to the court, as he leads the team with 16 points. Al Jefferson contributed eight points and a team-high six rebounds in the half. Earl Watson pulled down four boards (two offensive) and distributed the ball four times.
