NBA Free Agency Rumors 2011: Denver Nuggets Mulling Contract Offer To Thaddeus Young, According To Report

While the Denver Nuggets hope they are still in the running for Nene, the teams appears to be ready to target other options should that fail. On Monday, there were whispers that the Nuggets and restricted free agent Thaddeus Young had positive talks about a contract. Young could play power forward as well as small forward. It now appears that the Nuggets are ready to make him a "big offer," reports Steve Kyler of Hoops World.

The Nuggets are expected to have around $20 million in cap space to sign free agents, so the team could certainly entire Young with a nice offer. The 76ers would be unlikely to match such an offer, but this current report is vague. A big offer in the new NBA is likely not to be the same as in the old one.
