The NBA schedule won't be officially released until Tuesday night, but according to Denver Nuggets beat writer Benjamin Hochman, Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks will not play a game in Denver this season:
Two league sources confirmed that the Nuggets-Knicks game this season will be in New York and not in Denver, where many fans would surely boo Anthony, the former Nugget who forced a trade out of town.
It appears Nuggets fans who were hoping to give Anthony a piece of their minds this season will have to wait for another opportunity.
Anthony was dealt to the New York Knicks in Feb. 2011; he averaged 26.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game after the move to New York.
