Nuggets Vs. Lakers Score Update: Denver Leads 71-69 Heading Into Final Quarter

After falling behind by six late in the third quarter, it appeared as if the Denver Nuggets might struggle to keep pace with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the Nuggets ended the quarter with an impressive rally to take a 71-69 lead heading into the final quarter at the Staples Center.

It continues to be a group effort for the Nuggets, who have already had three players reach double-figures. Al Harrington has scored a team-high 13 points, while Andre Miller and Nene have each scored 11 points. Timofey Mozgov has been impressive in the paint, scoring six points, grabbing nine boards and blocking four shots.

The Lakers have kept the game close despite Kobe Bryant struggling from the field. Bryant has scored just 10 points on 4/12 shooting from the field. However, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum have combined to score 33 points and grab 10 rebounds through three quarters.
