The 2011-2012 NBA season is already several games old and we're seeing which players are providing fantasy owners help early on. On Saturday, the Denver Nuggets play the first of back-to-back-to-back games against the Lakers twice and then against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Nuggets' Al Harrington is classified by ESPN's Josh Whitling as a potential breakout candidate:
We've been down this road with Harrington before. When he's getting minutes in the right offense, he can put up some pretty nasty offensive numbers.
Through his first three games, Harrington is averaging 14.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in 21.7 minutes. He couldn't nail a three against Portland, missing all four attempts, but no one on the team could. Harrington did get buried on the Nuggets bench after a while during last season.
Andrew Bynum makes his season debut after finishing a four-game suspension and with an expected playing time of over 30 minutes per game fantasy owners are tantalized by the possibility of getting double-double production out of him. He just needs to stay healthy.
