Nuggets Vs. Jazz Score Update: Nuggets Lead 63-46 At Halftime

The Denver Nuggets ended the second quarter on a 21-6 run to get out to a 63-46 halftime lead against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center. Denver appears to be in good position to improve to 2-0 thanks to quality shot making (23-42 from the field) and a stellar defensive effort that included nine first half steals.

Nene has done most of the damage for Denver, scoring 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting. Ty Lawson added 13 points for Denver on 5-of-7 shooting. Arron Afflalo has eight points 3-of-7 shooting.

Al Jefferson has 14 first half points for the Jazz. Paul Milsap came off the bench and has 11 points and five rebounds for Utah thus far.

The Nuggets is shooting 54.8 percent from the field, while Utah is 17-of-37 from the field.
