Nuggets Vs. Mavericks Halftime Score: Ty Lawson, Andre Miller Lead Denver To 69-42 Lead

The Denver Nuggets are halfway to beating the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks, but halfway to anything matters little. The Nuggets will need to keep the pressure on and increase their 69-42 halftime lead.

Ty Lawson and Andre Miller combined for 35 points on 14-for-17 shooting. Lawson dropped 21 points to lead all Nuggets scorers while Miller added 14. Miller also pulled down five rebounds, dished the ball out for four assists, stole the ball twice and even blocked a shot.

Al Harrington dominate the end of the first quarter and the start of the second by scoring 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting (2-of-2 on threes). Danilo Gallinari was the only other Nuggets starter to reach double-digit points, adding 10.

After some rough shooting to begin the game, the Nuggets are 57.4 percent from the field. Dallas has struggled to hit 42.1 percent of its shots. Dirk Nowitzki is the leading scorer with 10 points, but he did have a small knee issue at one point in the half. Dallas' bench has just 19 points to the Nuggets' 32.
