With only 66 games in the upcoming 2011-2012 NBA season, the Denver Nuggets are still looking like a middle of the pack team in the league. The Nuggets over/under for wins this season has been set by Bovada at 36.5 games. That's only the third-highest over/under for teams in the Northwest Division.
The Oklahoma City Thunder look to run away with the division with 48.5 victories. The Portland Trail Blazers come in second at 37.5. The Utah Jazz will look to overcome 25.5 wins while the Minnesota Timerwolves will try to win more than 22 games.
The odds to win the Northwest Division odds play out similarly:
Odds to win the 2012 NBA Northwest Division
Oklahoma City Thunder 1/3
Portland Trailblazers 5/1
Denver Nuggets
7/1 Utah Jazz
25/1
I don't know. Second place definitely seems doable for the Nuggets this year. Despite concerns over chemistry and bringing in several new players, George Karl will get these guys ready to play from opening tip-off.
