Arron Afflalo, Denver Nuggets Agree To Five-Year Deal Worth Over $43 Million, According To Report

ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that the Denver Nuggets and shooting guard Aaron Afflalo have agreed to terms:

Just going up on ESPN online: Sources say Nuggets and restricted free agent Arron Afflalo agree to five-year deal in excess of $43 million

The Denver Nuggets were able to retain forward Nene Hilario when it looked like he might be headed elsewhere, and now they've taken care of some of their uncertainty in the backcourt by re-signing Afflalo.

Afflalo started 69 games for the Nuggets and averaged a career-best 12.8 points per game. He's matured into a deadly three-point shooter in Denver, where he has shot at least 42% from beyond the arc in each of the last two seasons.
