The Denver Nuggets will forgo using the amnesty clause on any player this season as the Friday deadline for all decisions on the front approaches, reports Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post. The Nuggets only had one possible player to use the clause on, forward Al Harrington. The 31-year-old forward is signed through the 2014-2015 season.
Harrington makes $6.2 million this year and $6.6 million next season before his salary jumps into the $7 million range over the final two years of the deal.
Harrington was relegated to Denver's bench during the first year of his deal, averaging 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 73 games (three starts). He is once again in line to come off the bench for the Nuggets.
