NBA Rumors 2011: Denver Nuggets Could Acquire Rudy Fernandez And Corey Brewer From Dallas Mavericks, According To Report

Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, ESPN's Marc Stein reported that the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks were discussing a trade involving Dallas guard Rudy Fernandez. Now Stein is reporting that forward Corey Brewer also could be sent to the Nuggets along with Fernandez:

ESPN sources: In most advanced scenario, Nuggets offer to take Rudy F and Brewer from Dallas into cap space for future draft considerations
Fernandez, who was traded to Dallas from Portland on draft day as part of a three-team deal, has spent the last three years playing with the Trail Blazers. Last season, he averaged 8.6 points per game while hitting 32.1% of his three-point attempts.

Brewer played in 13 games with the Mavericks last season, averaging 5.3 PPG.
