In order to make up for lost time and to cut down on travel during the short time between the start of training camp (Dec. 9) and the start of the season (Dec. 25 and 26), the NBA will have teams play close neighbors during the preseason. For the Denver Nuggets, this means a home-and-home series with the Phoenix Suns, reports Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic.
Dates for these games have yet to be determined, but players, owners, coaches and fans alike should be excited that there will be games again in their hometown arenas. Coro also believes that when the full 2011-2012 NBA schedule is released each team will have at least one home game before everyone rings in 2012.
There will surely be plenty of new faces on the Nuggets' roster when the preseason games take place.
