The bad news for the Denver Nuggets and fans of basketball continues as the Associated Press reports the NBA lockout will continue despite today's offer to the players:
The NBA players have rejected the league's latest offer and are beginning the process to disband the union.
...
Union executive director Billy Hunter says the players' association is prepared to file antitrust action against the NBA. He says this is the best situation for "players can get their due process."
The pending anti-trust lawsuit -- which the players announced earlier today following the disbanding of the NBPA --- will take months and should definitely end the 2011 NBA season.
Unfortunately for NBA fans, the 2011 season appears on the precipice of complete collapse.
