The NBA lockout continues after a lengthy negotiating session on Wednesday. The meeting didn't end until the early hours of Thursday (Eastern Time), but nothing was agreed upon by either side. The talks will continue on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. ET.
Stern has extended his ultimatum of offering a punitive deal to the players, but it could be put in place if this new round of negotiations ends without a deal. Stern said of the negotiations: "We're not failing, and we're not succeeding."
At a separate press conference in a separate area, Derek Fisher didn't sound optimistic when he told reporters, "We're going to meet again tomorrow to give it our best effort, but we don't know if it will be enough."
One month of the season has already been canceled and the league will likely need to start canceling more game if a deal is not reached soon.
