The Denver Nuggets lost some of their composure during the final minutes of the second quarter and allowed the Chicago Bulls to finish the half with a 50-43 lead. Forward Taj Gibson turned in a strong first half by finishing with 12 points, six rebounds and three blocks. However, he had four of the Bulls’ seven turnovers. Luol Deng added 12 points and six rebounds.
Carmelo Anthony leads the Nuggets with 14 points, three rebounds and two blocks. Shelden Williams has played only eight minutes and added three rebounds. Al Harrington has seen 15 minutes coming off the bench, scoring six points and pulling down four boards. As a team, the Nuggets are shooting only 37.1 percent.
