Carmelo Anthony has looked impressive out there tonight, scoring 10 points, grabbing six boards and assisting on five scoring plays. Nene has added 12 points and four rebounds. Sparsely used Melvin Ely has eight points and four rebounds in nine minutes off the bench.
J.R. Smith is back on the court after having sat on the bench previously for being later to a shootaround. Interestingly, Smith and Gary Forbes, who has taken Smith’s playing time, were on the court at the same time tonight.
The Nets’ Derrick Favors had nine points on 4-of-6 shooting and four rebounds in 10 minutes off the bench.
