Knicks vs. Nuggets: Denver Extends Lead To 94-82 After Three Quarters

The Denver Nuggets extended their halftime lead over the New York Knicks to 12 points with a 94-82 margin after three quarters.

Carmelo Anthony has been pretty active since a quiet first quarter netting a game-high 20 points to go along with 7 rebounds after three quarters. He also had a pretty assist to Al Harrington at the end of the half, as he escaped a double team to find his open teammate camped outside the three point line.

One of the unfortunate events of the quarter was Ronny Turiaf being whistled for his sixth foul, leading to his early exit from the game. It'd been fun to watch Turiaf battle down low, especially when tangling up with Nene in the post. But like the rest of us, he'll be watching the rest as an outsider.

Landry Fields and Amar'e Stoudemire pace the Knicks, who have five guys in double figures, the other being Raymond Felton, Danilo Gllinari and Wilson Chandler.

The Nuggets see six guys with double digits, as Chauncey Billups, Sheldon Williams, Nene, Gary Forbes and Harrington join Anthony in the double digit scoring column.
