During yesterday's 144-113 blowout loss, the Denver Nuggets saw the Indiana Pacers score 54 points on 20-of-21 shooting in the third quarter. It must be hard to come up with something new to say every time a shot goes in:
↵
The point where the announcers can't believe this is happening is at 3:33 on the game clock and Mike Dunleavy takes a three-point shot: "That can't possibly go in . . . Dunleavy." But it isn't until Dunleavy takes his last shot that you can hear the exasperation in game call: "Dunleavy . . . AGAIN!" And when Josh McRoberts misses the last shot of the quarter: "NO! And the streak is over."
↵Guess it could have been worse. All those shots could have been three-pointers.
