Nuggets' Al Harrington Scores 28 Points In Victory Over Houston Rockets

Al Harrington has proven to be a strong asset coming off the bench for the Denver Nuggets early on this season. Tonight against the Houston Rockets, Harrington put up a double-double (28 points, 10 rebounds). Harrington was 5-of-8 on three-point attempts. No wonder George Karl preferred Harrington coming off the bench.

Carmelo Anthony put 24 points up and made four rebounds and four assists. Nene also added a double-double, putting 12 points and 12 rebounds. Shelden Williams continues to contribute on the defensive side of things, picking up eight rebounds (two offensive). As a team the Nuggets shot 37.8 percent.

For the Houston Rockets, power forward Luis Scola recorded 28 points and 10 rebounds. Kevin Martin added 21 points, four rebounds and four assists. Yao Ming had 14 points and 6 rebounds. The Rockets shot 45.7% as a team in the loss.
