The contest will launch the team’s inaugural campaign and the Central Hockey League’s 2012-13 season. The team’s opponent has yet to be determined for the opening date of their home schedule.

"Now we know for sure when fans will get their first chance to see the Cutthroats play," said Cutthroats President Brad Lund. "We’re excited. October is just around the corner and the return of hockey to the Coliseum will be here before we all know it."

The Cutthroats will play a 33-game home schedule as part of a 66-game regular season for the CHL’s 21st year. All home games will be played at Denver Coliseum.

Season ticket plans are currently available by contacting the Cutthroats at (303) 295-FISH (3474) and more information can be found at denvercutthroats.com. Single-game ticket information will be available later this summer.
