James Harrison Will Miss Steelers Vs. Broncos, According To Report

James Harrison will miss Sunday night's clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Harrison's absence should be made official when the Steelers update their injury report later today.

Harrison's knee kept him out for pretty much all of minicamp and training camp. He tried to get back into action in both, but his knee swelled up after his one minicamp and one training camp appearance, ruling him out afterward. He did return to practice earlier this week, but when he missed the last two days of practice because of that knee, he was ruled out for the Steelers' trip to Denver.

Peyton Manning will sure be happy to see Harrison miss Sunday's game. While he continues to say that his neck is 100%, the prospect of getting hit by Harrison could not have been comforting. Now that won't be a worry.

Chris Carter wil start in Harrison's place. He has been practicing at outside linebacker since training camp.
