Steelers Vs. Broncos Odds: Denver Barely Favored Over Pittsburgh

The Denver Broncos face the Pittsburgh Steelers at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Sunday Night Football, but that it likely what has the Broncos as the slight home favorites. According to Odds Shark, Denver opened as a 3-point favorite and that has only lowered over the last few days to being a one-point favorite to being a push.

The Broncos replaced Tim Tebow with Peyton Manning, but Manning's return to full health is still far from a certain thing. He had uneven performances in his first two preseason games, highlighted by his three interceptions, before throwing for two touchdowns in his third and final preseason game.

The Steelers return a strong offense with Ben Roethlisberger under center, but he'll be without running back Rashard Mendenhall, who is weeks away from returning from ACL surgery. Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer will fill in for Mendenhall for the interim. Receiver Mike Wallace recently ended his holdout and is likely to play in Week 1.

The over/under for the game opened at 45 points and has moved down to 44.5 points. With Manning at quarterback, the Broncos shouldn't have many, if any, over/unders, in the 30-points range, as they did in 2011 with Tebow as the signal caller.
