NFL power rankings 2012: Broncos fall in Week 4 rankings

The Denver Broncos fell in the Week 4 NFL power rankings after a close loss to the Houston Texans left them at 1-2, but at least one writer thinks that they showed something even in defeat.

The Denver Broncos have fallen in the power rankings, a natural consequence of their 6-point loss to the Houston Texans. The Broncos are now 1-2 and beginning to ask difficult questions about their defense and the abilities of post-surgery Peyton Manning.

The Broncos saw their biggest drop in the power rankings from SB Nation's own Joel Thorman. Moving from 11th to 18th. The Broncos saw a decline in ESPN.com's rankings, moving from No. 10 to No. 14. Yahoo! Sports' MJD has the contrarian ranking. He cites the fact that they lost by less than a touchdown to two of the best teams in the league and places the Broncos eighth.
