Broncos Waive WR D'Andre Goodwin

The Denver Broncos have waived wide receiver D'Andre Goodwin, according to an announcement by the team on Friday.

Goodwin, a rookie out of the University of Washington, began the season on injured reserve, after spending most of last season on the Broncos' practice squad. He was brought into training camp as an undrafted free agent, but was cut when the rosters shrank to 53 players. The Broncos assigned him to the practice squad when a post opened up, and eventually signed the 5'11 receiver and pulled him up from the practice squad to add depth at wide receiver when Eric Decker sprained his MCL in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in January.

As a senior for the Huskies in 2010, Goodwin caught 44 passes for 530 yards and four touchdowns.
