Goodwin injured his ankle of Wednesday as part of a series of injuries to Broncos wide receivers.
Goodwin, an undrafted free agent out of Washington, was part of the Broncos' 2011 practice squad and was promoted during the playoffs to the active roster. After Eric Decker's MCL sprain against the Steelers, the Broncos needed a wide receiver for depth and Goodwin was the one who received the move up.
Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas are the projected starters at the two starting spots while Andre Caldwell is likely to be the No. 3 receiver. Goodwin was certainly down on the depth chart.
