The Denver Broncos welcomed back defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson to practice on Friday after he suffered a concussion last week in practice. The injury caused Vickerson to also sit out their Week 2 preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks.
During Friday's practice, Vickerson did take snaps with the first- and second-team defense, but head coach John Fox has not decided if Vickerson will see action when they play the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday:
"We'll evaluate it, see the flow of the game," Fox said. " ... We'll talk, I'm sure, as a staff as well as the medical people and coaches and coordinators and make a decision from there."
Vickerson is expected to receive a good amount of playing time as the backup defensive tackle to Ty Warren, so the Broncos need make sure that they there are no lingering effects to his concussion and make sure he is ready for the regular season.
