The Denver Broncos' starting right cornerback, Tracy Porter, "tweaked" his hamstring on Saturday during 11-on-11 practice, reports the Denver Post's Mike Klis. It was serious enough that Porter did not return to the field, but no other update is yet available.
Porter signed with the Broncos during the offseason to shore up a position that lacked depth for the team throughout the 2011 season. Drayton Florence is currently his backup and the nickel cornerback, but he has taken snaps at right cornerback while Porter has played the slot.
As always, Champ Bailey is covering the other side of the field as the starting cornerback. Chris Harris is his backup and has experience at the nickel spot. He spent most of his rookie season playing there.
