The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with their first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, defensive tackle Derek Wolfe out of Cincinnati. Wolfe, who was selected with the No. 36 overall selection, was taken in the second round to help sure up a defensive line that showed a clear need for reinforcements towards the end of last season.
Wolfe's deal will pay him $5.2 million over four years and features $3.2 million in guaranteed money. The defensive takcle did not participate on Monday's OTA workouts because he's still in school: Cincinnati graduates on June 9, so Wolfe won't be able to train with his Broncos teammates until the final minicamp of the offseason, which takes place from June 12-14.
