Denver Broncos Free Agents 2012: Drayton Florence Signs With Denver

The Denver Broncos announced on Thursday afternoon that they have agreed to terms with free agent cornerback Drayton Florence:

Florence received his release from the Buffalo Bills, where he spent the last three years, in early May and immediately drew interest from his old team, the San Diego Chargers, and the Tennessee Titans in addition to the Broncos.

With Champ Bailey and free-agent signing Tracy Porter starting, the 31-year-old Florence is likely to emerge as the nickel cornerback. Chris Harris played there as a rookie, but Florence, despite struggles in 2011, should enter camp as the favorite to play there.
