Everyone likes a winner and no one really likes a loser, so why not determine those categories in the 2012 NFL Draft!? That's what CBS Sports' Will Brinson did, and the Denver Broncos come out as losers in this particular list.
Brinson's main issue with the draft John Elway and John Fox conducted seems to be with the second round selection (57th overall) of quarterback Brock Osweiler, a guy who won't play for at least a couple of years due to the presence of Peyton Manning.
Because all Brinson can think about is the now. Osweiler is a developmental prospect and working under Manning, one would hope, is the best way for that to happen. Calling the Broncos losers mostly because they decided to look long-term with this one selection is short-sighted. But Brinson does like some of the picks:
They got some depth on defense and I like Ronnie Hillman as a guy to fit into what Manning does on offense, but Denver needed to be more aggressive about making their team better immediately and they didn't do that.
