Undrafted Free Agents 2012: Colorado State RB Raymond Carter Heads To Packers

The Colorado St. Rams have yet another alumni entering the NFL. According to RB Raymond Carter's Twitter account, the former Rams halfback will be joining the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent:

Carter becomes the first Ram to enter the NFL since G Shelley Smith was drafted in the 6th round in 2010. Current CSU alums include QB Caleb Hanie and All-Pro LB Joey Porter.

Carter ran for 584 yards on 121 attempts in 2011, good for a 4.8 yard per carry average. He also proved to be a capable receiver from the backfield, averaging 9.2 yards per catch with 15 receptions in his senior year. He originally announced that he had signed with the Green Bay Packers before reporting his "miss communication."
