Broncos Draft Pick 2012: Osweiler Thrilled To Be A Bronco

After signing Peyton Manning to be their quarterback of the present, the Denver Broncos addressed their future with the selection of Brock Osweiler in the 2nd round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Osweiler has the unique opportunity to learn from two of the all-time great QB's in Manning and John Elway. According to the official website of the Broncos, this is a chance Osweiler is ready to take advantage of:

"I could not be any more excited to be going to Denver to learn from Peyton Manning," Osweiler said. "A lot of quarterbacks might be upset about having to sit behind somebody, whereas I look at it as a tremendous opportunity to learn from one of the best, if not the best, quarterback to ever play the game."

Osweiler is still a bit raw, as he didn't fully dedicate himself to football until arriving on the Arizona St. campus. Osweiler was also a tremendous high-school basketball player in Montana and earned a scholarship to play at Gonzaga. However, he ultimately decided to play football and is ready to show his dedication to the game in Denver:

"I’m just absolutely completely estactic to be a Denver Bronco," Osweiler said. "It’s a dream come true. I absolutely can’t wait to get to Denver and can’t wait to get to work and give everything I have to that organization."
