The Boise State Broncos' whirlwind 2012 NFL Draft continued on Friday night when DE Tyrone Crawford was selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the No. 81 overall pick. In the last two seasons under Chris Petersen, Crawford has 27 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks. He'll likely join Rob Ryan's attacking defense as a pass rushing outside linebacker.
Crawford is the third Bronco to be drafted so far this year, joining Shea McClellin, who was tabbed by the Chicago Bears, and Doug Martin, who was grabbed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both players were taken in the first round. As pointed out by CBS Sports' Bryan Fischer, the Broncos as a team have almost equalled the entire SEC East in terms of draft picks taken so far this year.
Boise State has had three players drafted so far. Entire SEC East has four.
