2012 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2 Projections Continue With Jerel Worthy, Brock Osweiler To Broncos

It appears that many mock drafters believe the Denver Broncos should select Arizona St. Sun Devils quarterback Brock Osweiler in the second. The latest Round 2 mock draft from Scouts Inc. has the Broncos drafting the towering quarterback with the No. 57 overall pick. He's a developmental quarterback who gets to learn from Peyton Manning. It's a solid move if it turns out to be true. But what about pick No. 36, acquired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

With that selection, Scouts Inc. foresees the Broncos going with Michigan St. Spartans defensive tackle Jerel Worthy. If the Broncos get Worthy at No. 36, the pick will look good and bad bad. It's good that the Broncos didn't need to spend a first-rounder and then spend millions to sign him, but at the same time that Worthy becomes a second-round pick does call into question the level of talent/production that we might expect from him.

The Broncos' first two picks on Friday will certainly be well worth waiting for and making a quick judgment on them, right?
